Iraqi Leader: 2 Years Enough for Security
LONDON - Iraqi Prime Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari said Monday that two years would be "more than enough" to establish security in his country.

Following talks with British Prime Minister Tony Blair, al-Jaafari said factors such as building up Iraq's own security forces, controlling its porous borders and pushing ahead with the political process would all play a part. "I think two years will be enough, and more than enough, to establish security in our country," he told a news conference.

5. "Just two more years"
Just two more years, and the puppet government can do the job. Didn't the South Viet Namese government used to make this claim, too?

I don't see how two more years of occupation troops will give the current government any more legitimacy, which is what is really needed. Quite the revere is likely to happen. I don't see any way out of this vicious spiral.

6. What an Idiot,, all they have ot do now is wait for 2 years and then
attack. sarcasm on.. do you think if they did set a 2 year deadline, they insurgents would wait, I don't, 2 years they could have a full functoning Police and Military, I don't think they would wait. I do think that a deadline wouldn't hurt though.
