London bombings evoke sympathy in Middle East
http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/L07397428.htm

"LONDON, July 7 (Reuters) - Deadly blasts in London drew shock and sympathy from Middle Eastern capitals on Thursday, some of them all too familiar with carnage on their own streets.

"We've been experiencing terrorism for 30 years," said Samira Murr, a Lebanese teacher in her 50s, in Beirut. "It's like the Madrid bombings, like the 9/11 attacks. We feel we are not safe anywhere in the world any more."
~snip~
Iran and Syria, both on Washington's list of states sponsoring terrorism, joined an unbroken chorus of condemnation, as did the Palestinian Authority, the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas and Lebanon's Shi'ite Muslim Hizbollah guerrillas."

4. Maybe, just maybe, "They" were not the ones who did this. I just hope
that the real murderers are found. And I sure hope that the evidence is not "disappeared" as in the case of 9-11.

5. Terrorism
As Noam Chomsky puts it, "the term terrorism is used, standardly, to refer to the terrorism that they carry out against us, whoever we happen to be".

Interesting presentation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrorism#History

8. why attack people?
terrorists are by nature goofballs, but their logic always helps blairbush and the nazipoos....always. a blast at a nuke plant, it doesn't even need to be that near, would have disasterous effect on economy, and hurt blairbush no matter what, yet they always attack the obvious public target which also helps bushblair...the dow rose 30 points today (maybe the moneymen know something the news media pretends they don't)))

which always strikes me as unusual since this is the single group with the most influence over the behaviour the western governments.
Are they stupid or are they just obeying orders ?
