Pentagon denies medically abusing detainees
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. military on Thursday denied charges that health workers were broadly complicit in alleged abuse of terrorism suspects by the military in Cuba, Iraq and Afghanistan.

The charges first surfaced in The Lancet, a British medical journal, in an article last year by a University of Minnesota professor that said some U.S. military doctors falsified death certificates to cover up killings and hid evidence of beatings.

It said U.S. military medics revived a detainee who had collapsed after a beating so that abuse could continue.

Defense officials said a study, carried out by the Army's own surgeon general Lt. Gen. Kevin Kiley, did not support the charges.

5. Liars...
"The U.S. military on Thursday denied charges that health workers were broadly complicit in alleged abuse of terrorism suspects...".

The key word here is "broadly". They probably have a small elite group who are specifically trained for torture.

6. We didn't do it, but if we had,
it would have been because the Geneva Convention is quaint. And Berto Gonzalez said we could. But we didn't. And if we did, it was only a few bad apples. That's what Rumsfeld said in his memo of 2002. Except that this is the first he's heard of it. But he hasn't heard of it, because it didn't happen.

7. Sadly,that's exactly
the message the neocons are sending to the US and the rest of the world. There has never been a more inept, corrupt group of thugs in control of our country. It should be the first priority of every person who loves this country, and honors our Constitution, to get them out of office.

Neither we, nor the rest of the world, can afford any more of * and his gang. He is a disgrace to the Christian beliefs he claims to practice, and to all who want peace.
