FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SOLDIER KILLED BY IED NEAR BALAD

LSA ANACONDA, BALAD, Iraq – A 29th Brigade Combat Team Soldier was killed and three were wounded when an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle at about 1:00 p.m. July 8 near Balad, Iraq.

The three wounded Soldiers were taken to a Coalition Forces medical treatment facility.

The name of the Soldier is being withheld pending next of kin notification.

1. Arent the young republicans having their convention this week?
pity they refuse to go to Iraq as they chug beer and rant about the war..in the meantime, other kids die..
American Warmongers=chickenhawks who let other peoples kids die in war and refuse to enlist or enlist their own kids.

We've got to stop with this unrealistic hope/strategy that makes Iraq's economic, social and political future the responsibility of U.S. taxpayers and American military service people.

I don't want to see anymore American GIs die in Iraq.

Iraq's oil belongs to the Iraqis; they are free to do with it as the see fit not as we see it.

We can best support our troops by re-uniting them with their families and loved ones and allowing them to live full and dignified lives.
