Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton attacks President Bush, comparing him to Alfred E. Neuman

ASPEN, Colo. (AP) — Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton went on the attack against President Bush in a speech Sunday, accusing him of damaging the economy by overspending while giving tax cuts to the rich.

The Democrat from New York also accused Bush of depriving U.S. soldiers of equipment needed to fight the war in Iraq and cutting funding for scientific research.

"I sometimes feel that Alfred E. Neuman is in charge in Washington," Clinton said referring to the freckle-faced Mad magazine character. She drew a laugh from crowd when she described Bush's attitude toward tough issues with Neuman's catchphrase: "What, me worry?"

....

She said the United States should remain in Iraq until peace can be maintained by the Iraqi people, saying the mission was part of the "long struggle against terrorism" by the U.S.

Although "long struggle against terrorism" is marginally better than "War on Terrorism" she scores no points with me. My Nation cover is framed, on my kitchen table and I smile as I worry. :)

24. Freepers hate H. Clinton more than bad news from Iraq. So why "3 Stars"
Sen. Clinton Attacks Bush Over Tax Cuts
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20050711/ap_on_go_co/clinton...

In my quest to expose the NSA Blackbox on ISP servers changing poll votes, here is my latest example. Stories from Iraq, bad news, dead American soldiers, corruption of Haliburton in Iraq... all have One Star to Two Star ratings on Yahoo. After about 100 examples of posting the links/ratings on the DU, someone posted that it's Freepers. I disagreed then because if it were other "bad news" stories about aWol/GOP leadership would also be Freeped at the same time since Yahoo lists the top 6 stories on their front page.

The Freepers/Nazi Christians hate NOTHING more in the world than Hillary. Since they can only get this story down to Three Stars is a little more evidence that the NSA's Blackbox is voting Iraq bad news stories.

(I used to watch Perry Mason reruns!)

But too bad she didn't accompany that with a little more analytical observation in references to solve the issue at hand.

41. And that's why she won't get my vote in 2008
She wants to send more troops to Iraq. We need to bring our troops home.
The Iraqis clearly do not want more US troops on their soil. The Iraqis do not want to live under U.S. occupation.

I will not vote for any Democrat that supports Bush's policy of occupation for Iraq, Afghanistan, Haiti or any other sovereign state.

Where do they find the time? They spend so much of it functioning as de facto apologists for torture and treason, you'd think they wouldn't be able to squeeze in defending the President of the United States from Alfred E. Neuman comparisons.

But there they are ...
