'Take the fight' to terrorists - Bush
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=355460&in_page_id=1770

US President George Bush vowed to "take the fight" to the terrorists behind the London bomb attacks.

The President was delivering an update on the war on terror at an FBI training academy in Virginia.

The White House said the address was planned before the terror strike but the bombings gave his remarks even more significance. snip

"We will continue to take this fight to the enemy and we will fight until this enemy is defeated."

38. The US already has troops on the ground here,
so maybe he just plans to add a few more, put 'em on the streets with guns and occupy us.

6. Why can't we all agree that killing innocent men and women (I might add
children) in cold blood is barbaric? Maybe each member nation of the UN, especially those holding a seat on the Security Council should, at a minimum, demand all state-sponsored killing of innocent men, women, and children be stopped around the globe, then go after any other person or group who would sponsor such atrocities.

28. You dodged the question.
Do you consider the "Shock and Awe" attack on Iraq to be illegal, immoral, unnecessary or unjust??????? Many thousands of innocents were killed then--thousands more than have died from suicide bombings.

In fact, one might argue that was the entire point of the UN Charter in the first place. The same is true of the Geneva Conventions.

22. Bu*h is such a ridiculous asshole. Duh. So, just where is Osama bin
Laden?

Bu*h is an ineffective fool who will eventually get us all killed. The shit for brains moron golfs and jokes while ignoring the FBI and CIA when they tell him we are in danger before the 9/11 attack, he expends all our manpower and resources on an illegitimate war against a country that had nothing to do with the 9/11 attack, and now, 4 years later, the old dude who supposedly masterminded the 9/11 attack is still nowhere to be found.

SO I REALLY DON'T WANT TO HEAR THIS FUCKING CLOWN TELLING ME THAT WE NEED TO CONTINUE TO TAKE THIS FIGHT TO THE ENEMY....BECAUSE OVER THE LAST 4 YEARS THIS DUMBASS HAS PROVEN TO BE TOO GODDAMN STUPID TO EVEN EVER FIND THE ENEMY IN THE FIRST PLACE! IT'S NO WONDER LONDON GOT BOMBED!

31. The irony to the story?
He(Bush)delivered this message at the FBI training academy...The same FBI that ignored the report by one of there own about people being trained at flight schools who later rammed planes into the World Trade center and the Pentagon.

Maybe his message when he was there could have been "To all new FBI trainees, please pay closer attention to the whats happening out there..and if you see something strange, please tell someone..and if ignored(like the agent that DID say something but was ignored in relation to the flight training)please scream till someone hears you"

But then...he had trouble reading a PDB so it's sort of the pot calling the kettle black I guess.

into a hole. Like Clinton has been saying lately, there's no way we can kill all our enemies.

I think we will always have some terror. And force will always be part of fighting it, but I think if Bush would have worked on solving the mid east peace process, pursuing economic development and democratic ideals in the arab world it would go a lot farther. Of course it doesn't sound as good as "Smoke em out" but it works better.

Pretty big talk...easy when you are one ocean and a continent away...

Does Bush realize, that from London - the terrorists are about as close as a trip to Texas....?

Who did he think they were going to "Bring it on" to first?

Attacking any member of the coalition is as good as strike on the US.
