Police on verge of identifying one London bomber: report
LONDON (AFP) - British police are on the verge of identifying one person they believe was involved in the bomb attacks which killed at least 52 people in London, a report said.

The Financial Times, which cited an unnamed European official involved in international efforts to find the bombers, said progress had been made towards naming who was responsible for a blast on a bus on Thursday morning.

The bus explosion was one of four co-ordinated bombings, the others on London Underground subway trains, which caused carnage in the morning rush hour.

"I think we are going to see photographs of one or more suspects being posted within days," the official told the paper.

Separately, The Times newspaper reported that forensic pathologists are paying particularly close attention to two bodies found inside the wrecked bus to see whether one of them might have been the bomber.

2. Why? Do you hate white Americans?
What if it's a Black American, or a New York Puerto Rican. What if it's a German, or a Turk? Maybe, it's a Japanese exchange student? It could be an Indian, or a Pakistani, or a Black Brit. It could be an Irishman, or woman. It could be an Arab, or an Afghani. Maybe a Moroccan...

No matter who it is, or was, they killed a bunch of innocent people. There's nothing "choice" about that.

9. Your point's well taken, miss chybil...
... but what would be REALLY funny is if it turns out to be a fringe right winger, especially after the white House and Sock Puppet Press keep blaming those nebulous "tairists' from Al Qaeda!

5. I wonder
if they are going to disclose the name of the company that hired Visor Consultants to conduct a simulation of multiple bombs going off at precisely the same stations, at precisely the same time? I mean, just like on 9/11?

Peter Power is managing director of Visor Consultants.

"Afterwards, while escorting Power out of the building, Colman asked why there had not been more media coverage of this rather curious co-incidence - to which Power responded (with a knowing smile) that "they were trying to keep it quiet"."

7. Bush is a crook. Whether or not he was behind the bombing, I don't know.
Worse, still: Bush is probably a traitor. Someone gave Rove Plame's name.

11. Yeh. If I were a betting man, Cheney.

Physically, Bushler appears...lost all the time.

Not to say he's not a crook or some kind of sociopath.

Look how creeped out the kids around him look,

excepting the one who is laughing.

10. Apparantly, there were eyewitnesses to the bus bomber
eyewitnesses noticed a young man behaving strangely, aggravated and fumbling in a backpack. The article indicated maybe that bom was for another train but misfired

12. Link to Times article:
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,22989-1690391,00.html

(snip)

A SINGLE bombmaker using high-grade military explosives is believed to be responsible for building the four devices that killed more than 50 people last week, The Times can reveal.

“The nature of the explosives appears to be military, which is very worrying,” said Superintendent Christophe Chaboud, the chief of the French anti-terrorist police, who was in London to help Scotland Yard.
