By Steve Kemme
Enquirer staff writer

SHARONVILLE - The chairman of the Ohio Republican Party insisted Monday that GOP state officials will find and punish those responsible for the political scandals engulfing Columbus - no matter where the investigations lead.

"Some people made bad decisions," Bob Bennett told more than 100 Hamilton County Republicans at a fund-raiser at the Sharonville Convention Center.

"We will ferret out the wrongdoers," he said. "Republicans will clean out any bad apples in their own house."

Bennett blamed the scandal involving the loss of $200 million in investments at the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation on both Democrats and Republicans...

10. Franklin County Dem Chair DEFENDS Bribery Recipient! GOP has Dems on their
side, thats why they can afford to toss a few Rethugs!

INSTEAD OF OH DEMS CALLING FOR FULL INVESTIGATION INTO BRIBES THEY ARE DEFENDING THE THUGS !!!!

Sorry for the shout but this tells it all:

"Matt's done a good job for us," said Anthony, a Democrat. "And I don't believe that Matt had that guy in there in order to take the bribe in order to push Diebold. I just don't believe it. He made an error in judgment."...

This from the Chairman of the Franklin County Dem Party, Bill Anthony.

By the way Mr Anthony has his office at the Ohio Dem Party HQ in Columbus, where a recent "break-in" (NOT REALLY A BREAK-IN SINCE THE THIEVES WENT THROUGH AN OPEN WINDOW) stole sensitive computers from Denny White's Office (Chair of the Ohio Dem Party)

WAKE-UP GOV DEAN!!! Something is fishy in Ohio!

Here is one from today for ya Bob (sorry, after you read a little bit you have to login to read the rest and bugmenot does not have a login for the Columbus Dispatch that I can find)

"Election Chiefs Pay Docked In Check Case"
http://www.dispatch.com/default.php

"Attorneys Argue Privacy of Taft memos" - "governor not exempt from deposition, state senator says"
http://www.dispatch.com/indexes/newsindex.php

And today's cartoon showing Ohio's Goverment wrapped in crime scene tape:http://www.dispatch.com/indexes/editorialsindex.php (scroll down to the bottom of the page)

Personally, I think the Dems ought to keep them all in to remind everyone next year how corrupt Ohio Government is. Would be helpful for the elections.

21. As if squeezing a couple of termites...
... will fix everything when you find your foot going through the rotten floor of a long- infested house. It's too late, Mr Bennett. Y'all are going to have to raze that house because it's downright condemned.

If my good neighbors to the west don't put some Dems into office next go-round, I really give up on Ohio.

Edited on Tue Jul-19-05 12:09 PM by mod mom
IF THEY WANT BI-PARTISAN SOLUTIONS LET'S DO 50-50!

"Two of the members of the bureau's nine-member advisory board are Democrats, he said.

"It's a bipartisan scandal, and there ought to be a bipartisan solution," Bennett said.
