BBC: Police issue bomb suspect images (London)
Edited on Fri Jul-22-05 10:15 AM by allemand
Police have issued CCTV images of the four people they say tried to set off explosive devices on three London Tube trains and a bus on Thursday.
Anyone who knew who or where the men were should immediately contact police, Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Andy Hayman said.

The bombers fled after detonators went off but failed to detonate bombs.

Commissioner Sir Ian Blair said Scotland Yard was facing "the greatest operational challenge" in its history.

1. Wow. The British work quickly.
Meanwhile, it's been four years (longer than we fought WWII) and Shrub still hasn't caught Bin Laden or any other terroroists. :evilfrown: :grr: :( :grr: :( :evilfrown:

2. One clearly has a backpack

The bus person might also have one, I can't really tell. But the other two don't seem to be carrying backpacks.

On edit: The bus seems pretty empty too.

5. fair enough
that's fair. I'm just saying that if he didn't have one, and he's the attempted bomber, then that's why he didnt have a backpack on him. We don't know enough to judge yet.

7. Fair enough as well.
I hope we eventually see trials with real evidence, cross examination, and due legal process in these cases. It will lend needed clarity to the situation.
