GROUP CLAIMS BOMBINGS
A group linked to al Qaeda has claimed responsibility for the latest London bombings, as forensic teams examine the rucksack bombs found on a bus and in Tube trains.

The group, Abu Hafs al Masri Brigade, also claimed responsibility for the explosions on July 7.

1. from the globe:
Venzke said: "They started claiming responsibility for just about everything in the world. We've never been able to determine if it is just one person sitting at a computer having fun or if it really is a group."

The editor of Al-Quds, Abdel Bari Atwan, could not be reached yesterday, but a woman who identified herself as a receptionist said that e-mail messages from the brigade came in Arabic and that she has no other information about the group. When asked whether the letter seemed credible, she said: "That's the problem. Probably not.

"There is no proof of anything, if such a thing exists or is being made up by America or someone else."

2. I call this BS..

"They started claiming responsibility for just about everything in the world. We've never been able to determine if it is just one person sitting at a computer having fun or if it really is a group."

How about hacking the forum/site in which they post that, get the IP adress and give a call to the ISP for further info on the ISP's subscriber? Jees...

And with a warrant, they wouldn't even need to hack, just ask for the databases.

Internet claiming is BS if you ask me, I hope the authorities will never lower their credulity to this level.
