Bush administration condemns Egyptian attacks, urges Muslims to oppose terrorism


During her visit to the West Bank, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice described the attacks as strikes against "the civilized world." She says countries need to put up a unified fight so that terrorists "will not succeed in destroying our way of life,"

And, the president's two advisers on homeland and national security wrote an opinion piece in today's New York Times. Steve Hadley and Frances Townsend write, "We need all citizens, everyone who loves freedom to join in the fight." They also say Muslims are "in the best position to expose the terrorists' lies."
