FBI raid Bush attack suspect's home
http://news.scotsman.com/latest.cfm?id=1680742005

FBI agents have hauled away boxes from the home of a man who has confessed to throwing a grenade at US President George Bush at a rally in Georgia's capital in May.

Investigators have erected a tent outside Vladimir Arutyunian's home, on the outskirts of Tbilisi, and appeared to be using special equipment to examine the evidence, according to footage shown by Georgian Rustavi-2 television.

No-one was harmed in the May grenade incident, but Arutyunian has been charged with killing a police officer in a shoot-out during his arrest last week. He was shown on television admitting to throwing the grenade, according to footage broadcast locally on Saturday, but authorities have not said yet if they plan to charge him in connection with that incident.

2. Is it just me, or does this seem like the wrong way to go about things?
The granade was thrown. That can't be undone. And as far as deterring people from doing the same thing- well, those who are going to toss grenades, are going to toss grenades. And the way to deter people from doing that in the first place is to gain their affection. I think it's really that simple. But no, the standard method of human beings is punishment, and example, and never ever introspection. But it's pretty simple- for all of the effort we put into punishment, we could find half of that to really seek answers. I don't recall the majority of the planet wanting to see Clinton six feet under. Hint, hint.

I hate posting stuff like this. It's not full of facts, history, or policital relevance. And since the driving force behind the Smirk is money, it will never change. As long as the American public knows that the millions of dollars that are being spent on that guys front lawn, by the fbi, are coming out of their paycheck.

3. I thought the FBI was prohibited from doing anything outside the USA?

4. They were "invited" in by the government.
