BAGHDAD (Reuters) - A suspected bomb on a railway line hit a train carrying oil products near Baghdad on Thursday, causing a huge fire, Iraqi police said. They said one person was killed and four wounded in the blaze.
The train was carrying oil derivatives from a refinery in the Doura district in the south of the capital, where the incident occurred.
One police source said he believed a bomb targeted the train, while another said it may have been an accident. Reuters cameramen said the incident caused a huge blaze, with smoke and flame pouring into the air.
Police said one person had been killed. It was not immediately clear if they were on the train or passing by.
