Romney No Closer To Decision On Presidential Run
Governor Mitt Romney is back from vacation, but he says he's no closer to a decision about his political future. <snip>

He's also facing protesters on his first day back.

Abortion rights activists outside the press conference protested his decision to veto legislation expanding access to the so-called "morning after pill."

The Legislature is expected to override the veto in the fall.

1. Run Mitt Run!
as far away from this race as you possibly can!!

What could he possibly be thinking? He couldn't carry Mass. in a general election -- hell, he probably couldn't get re-relected there at this point. That leaves him with what? Utah's massive haul of five electoral votes?

2. The Republicans are all thinking their nominee must be a DC outsider
So that they can (once again) use the "different kind of Republican" label to win the swing states. The only DC insider who could possibly pass him/herself off as a DC outsider is McCain, so every GOP Governor and Mayor is taking a long, hard look at whether they can take out McCain in the primary...

3. He can hold hands with Pataki
They can both cry in their soup together. But hey, Romney will be able to say he got 5 more electoral votes than Pataki did (BIG GOOSE EGG)!!!!

4. Please let the republicans nominate him
It would be a dream come true. He's a real flip flopper and he wouldn't be able to even win Massachusetts.
