Rep. Kennedy Campaign to Post Story Links
ST. PAUL, Minn. - A congressman's campaign Web site, under fire for deleting negative comments from news stories before posting them, will now link viewers to the full text of the articles, a spokeswoman said Wednesday.
Some of the partial versions might still remain on the site, though, said Heidi Frederickson, a campaign spokeswoman for Republican U.S. Rep. Mark Kennedy, who is running for an open Senate seat.
Wednesday morning, a day after the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee accused Kennedy of selective editing to make himself look better, parts of news articles from The Associated Press, the Star Tribune of Minneapolis, and the New York Times were still on site.

2. Yeah, can you imagine if a Dem had done that?
There would be calls for impeachment, at the least.

3. Ahhh, Screech strikes again.
Ugh, Kennedy is such a reptile. Rep. McCollom called him to the mat when he tried to hold "meetings" outside of his district.

http://www.startribune.com/stories/587/5537983.html
Rep. Betty McCollum, a Democrat who represents St. Paul, threatened to complain to the House ethics committee, citing House rules that limit the use of congressional funds and staff time to support "duties to the district from which elected."

"This is an arrogant and blatant disregard for House rules," she said. "If it wasn't a campaign event, he would hold this forum in his own district for his own constituents."

Kennedy, who represents a district northwest of the Twin Cities, announced Friday that he would hold a public forum in St. Paul to discuss his recent trip to a Hmong refugee camp in Thailand.

Kennedy spokeswoman Anne Mason said his Washington office made a "verbiage error" in saying he would hold the meeting; in fact, she said, he had merely been invited to attend by Hmong leaders who briefed him before his State Department-sponsored tour of Asia.

4. Wait. The Hmong wanted "to find out what he had learned"
Are there actually GOP/freeper Hmongs in MN?

How could they possibly think he learned anything of importance?
