CIA ceremony for ex-spymasters sparks puzzlement
14.08.05

WASHINGTON - The CIA will honour nine former spymasters who served in the now-defunct position of director of central intelligence at a closed-door ceremony that has sparked puzzlement and surprise among some ex-spies.

The agency, which has been rocked by sweeping intelligence reform this year, has invited all of its employees to attend the closed presentation that will be hosted on Tuesday by CIA Director Porter Goss.

Nine former directors of central intelligence including former President George Bush are scheduled to attend the private event in the cafeteria of the agency's Langley, Virginia, headquarters. <snip>

Added a former senior CIA clandestine officer, who spoke on condition of anonymity: "What are they thinking? It sounds like the dance of the dodos. The DCI post is extinct."

29. I get tired of being called a conspiracy nut
by people who still don't believe the Bush family influence could be as far and wide and deadly as it is. The proof is out there - and if you haven't taken the time to read it then don't claim that "it couldn't be" happening that way.

No meeting of this group of people held behind closed doors could be innocent in any way, shape, or form. This is a planning meeting of some sort, no doubt about it.

17. Add ONE more item to this list...implementing the IIPA
and that's the The Intel Identities Protection Act

which is a law that will directly impact the first amendment - and permenently destroying any possibility of ever again having anything resembling a bonafide Free Press, ever again in this country. {i know the editorial boards on the papers of record are already CIA operatives/assets)

The IIPA is a component of Bush Sr's effort to stop people like Phil Agee, Victor Marchetti, John Marks, Ralph McGehee, etc., and reverse the effect that the Church Committee hearings and the exposure of illegal and immoral activities by the CIA had on the ability of the Executive Branch to continue its longstanding tradition of corruption and unfettered wet, black and gray covert operations.

Some say, that is what the Valerie Plame leak is actually about. Some are saying that the Plame leak was a deception, a ruse in order to set the stage to get this law into place in this administration.

In other words, that Joe Wilson's job was to set up a sting op against the Bush Co, so that this would be the ultimate outcome, but it is the goal.

Personally, I think this is a stretch - and i have a hard time buying it. But on the other hand, I have heard Wilson advocate for this, which is telling.

In any event, it appears the fascist police state is firmly in place - our consitution has vaporised, and our real history is now the stuff of legend and lore.

And this is what Bushies and the brain dead freeptoids were hoping for.

god i hate these people.

It may be a milestone type event that is like a formal indication that they will no longer receive certain priveledges, current employees are not to discuss certain material with them, loss of clearance. In other words, go home, shut up, tend your garden.

23. There are a whole helluva lot of things that are getting "tied together"
all of a sudden. I'm REALLY not comfortable with this.

When a population does not trust their government, AT ALL, then it is usually a foreshadowing of serious things to come. We're obviously NOT all pulling in the same direction. They have divided the people, one against the other, and have gotten people who are paying attention riled up.

That is FOOLISH for a sober government to do that.

The scariest thing is, we absolutely DO NOT HAVE a sober government.

24. Maybe they'll wake up the next morning...
and have this conversation:

Ex-Director: Where am I?
Number 2: In the Village.
Ex-Director: What do you want?
Number 2: We want information.
Ex-Director: Whose side are you on?
Number 2: That would be telling. We want information... information... information.
Ex-Director: You won't get it.
Number 2: By hook or by crook, we will.
Ex-Director: Who are you?
Number 2: The new Number 2.
Ex-Director: Who is Number 1?
Number 2: You are Number 6.
Ex-Director: I am not a number, I am a free man.

I need to get those DVDs some day...
