UK director to make 9/11 hijack film

A second major Hollywood film is to be made about the 11 September terrorist attacks on the United States, it emerged yesterday.

Flight 93 will be made by the British director Paul Greengrass and will cover the flight in real time, beginning with take-off and ending when passengers brought it down in Pennsylvania, the magazine Variety reported.

It will follow the Oscar-winning director Oliver Stone's film based on the true story of two police officers trapped in the rubble of the Twin Towers. The as-yet untitled picture will star Nicholas Cage.

I thought it has been pretty much established, short of an official confirmation, that Flight 93 was shot down, no?

2. My thought is that Cheney gave Rumsfeld the order to shoot it down...

And, since the technology didn't exist then for cell phone calls to consistently connect from that altitude, 'ya just gotta shake your head at the CIA's 'transcripts' from the passengers.

One of the transcripts involves a man who reaches his mother on the phone - identifying himself by his first and last name to her. LOL. Even if he hadn't called his mother in years - why would her number then be in the cell phone, or convenient to access - he certainly wouldn't identify himself with his first and *last name.* Moreover, the ensuing conversation of a man with only minutes left to live, was absolutely absurd, and obviously false.
