Poll: Bush's education law not right:-

A new poll finds most people support improving public schools in the United States but are against President Bush's schools legislation.

The findings in the Phi Delta Kappa-Gallup Poll released Tuesday show people don't think a single test is adequate in grading a school's quality, The Christian Science Monitor reports.

The survey also shows people don't want special education test grades to be weighed into a school's overall measurement.

Ninety percent polled said more needs to be done to narrow the achievement gap between white students and African American and Latino students.
