ACLU Makes FOIA Request on Government Rape Victim Guidelines
http://ap.tbo.com/ap/breaking/MGBQ0BYM0DE.html

WASHINGTON (AP) - The American Civil Liberties Union is asking the Justice Department to release records that might explain why it doesn't advise hospitals to consider emergency contraception when treating rape victims.

The group joined several family planning and abortion-rights groups Tuesday in submitting a Freedom of Information Act request relating to the first-ever national medical protocol distributed to state health departments last November.

"It is time for the Department of Justice to be accountable for refusing to do everything it can to protect sexual assault survivors from unintended pregnancy," said Louise Melling of the ACLU Reproductive Freedom Project.

The protocol is not mandatory but represents highly recommended procedures for hospitals.

1. Article reveals exactly the response you'd expect from these mutants.
In an e-mailed statement, the Justice Department said the protocol is intended to give rape victims as much control over the process as possible, "based upon the victim's own preferences and beliefs."

It "recognizes that sexual assault victims of different ages, social, cultural and religious/spiritual backgrounds have varying options regarding treatment options," the department stated.

What woman wouldn't crave bearing and raising the spawn of a perverted criminal bully? Thanks to MEpublicans, it's required, unless you can get nearly divine intervention.

3. Guy James of the Guy James Show from South Florida (online Saturdays)
is the one who used it on the air a couple of weeks ago.

I really need to credit him. I intend to use it as long as it fits!
