Bush, Blanco Reveal Strained Relationship
BATON ROUGE, La. - Like estranged in-laws at a holiday gathering,
President Bush and Louisiana Gov. Kathleen Blanco kept their distance as both toured a relief center for storm victims Monday. At their next stop, the Republican president kissed the Democratic governor on the cheek, but it wasn't clear whether they had made up.

In front of the cameras during Bush's visit to the Gulf Coast states on Monday, the president and Blanco said little to each other, focusing instead on thanking relief workers.

"I know I don't need to make any other introduction other than `Mr. President,'" Blanco said tersely, turning the microphone over to Bush after praising emergency management officials during a stop with Bush at an emergency operations center.

Making his third visit to the Hurricane Katrina-ravaged states, Bush stopped first at the Bethany World Prayer Center, a huge hall half covered with pallets and half filled with dining tables. Blanco visited at the same time, but she and Bush kept apart as they walked around talking to people.

2. Wish a media source would acknowledge Bush has a strained
relationship with so many Americans. It's not just Governor Blanco.

That's why he keeps such a deep distance between himself and the other people who live in this country.

A President has never needed a dog more to make him look likeable.

Who doesn't wear a suit when speaking to dogs? They appreciate it.

14. He really needs to STOP all that kissing stuff. It's EXTREMELY
inappropriate for him to be kissing female governors, heads of state, spouses of heads of state, etc.

He also needs to stop all the other inappropriate touching such as rubbing people's heads, etc.

What a jackass.

5. That lying fucktard O'Reilly was saying that Blanco "didn't request aid"
fast enough. Didn't she do it like three days before Katrina even hit the Gulf Coast?

7. Maybe the 26th was too early to ask?
And her letter on 8/26 didn't say "please".

Maybe I should sent these points to the RNC and White House, since they haven't used them yet.

11. This sentence trivializes the matter.
"Like estranged in-laws at a holiday gathering, President Bush and Louisiana Gov. Kathleen Blanco kept their distance as both toured a relief center for storm victims Monday."

It's a little more important than that.

13. Actually, if you 'sniff the wind' of the coverage, the smell isn't
heading for the Governor, it is heading straight for the former Governor of Texas.
