SOLDIER DIES IN INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT
CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – A Soldier assigned to 2nd Force Service Support Group (Fwd) died on Sept. 7 in an industrial accident on Camp Taqaddum, Iraq.
The incident is currently under investigation.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.

ONE SOLDIER KILLED IN ACCIDENT
LSA ANACONDA, BALAD, Iraq – One 56th BCT Soldier was killed in a non-combat related accident at about 6:30 p.m., Sept. 7, at Camp Taqaddum, Iraq.
The Soldier was taken to a Coalition Forces medical treatment facility where he died of his wounds.
The name of the Soldier is being withheld pending next of kin notification.

DoD Identifies Navy Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a sailor who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Hospitalman Robert N. Martens, 20, of Queen Creek, Ariz., died Sept. 6, from injuries sustained as a passenger when his HMMWV rolled over in Al Qaim, Iraq. During Operation Iraqi Freedom, Martens was assigned to II Marine Division, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
