Bush balancing agenda with storm response

Associated Press

WASHINGTON - President Bush is balancing a harried schedule of diplomatic duties - from Iraq to China and the United Nations - while working to stay on top of hurricane recovery efforts that most Americans say should be his No. 1 priority.

"I can do more than one thing at one time," the president assured Monday on the first of two planned visits this week to the Gulf Coast. He's fitting those in between meetings with world leaders who came to the United States for a gathering of the United Nations in New York, where he planned to publicly thank world leaders for their contributions to storm relief.

Before leaving Tuesday afternoon for the United Nations, Bush was hosting Iraqi President Jalal Talabani for a closed-door meeting in the Oval Office, followed by a joint news conference in the East Room.

The meeting comes as the Bush administration's top envoy in Iraq is warning that the U.S. is running out of patience with Syrian interference across the border and refusing to rule out military strikes or punishment from the United Nations in retaliation.

2. What's scary is he felt he had to say it.
Subject never came up with Bill Clinton. (Same way no one ever felt the need to ask Bill if he'd read a book lately.)

18. Yeah really....
Yesterday when asked about "Brownie" resigning * snapped, "No I haven't heard about it...I've been working!"

If I recall right...isn't managing people part of how the self-proclaimed CEO of our country is supposed to be working?

He's not just an asshole anymore but becoming a very publicly visible crabby one at that.

While a storm comes to town,

9. What in HELL is the matter with him?
I should hope to shout he can do more than one thing at a time--he's the FUCKING PRESIDENT even if he DID steal it. In fact, my DOG can scratch and sniff at the same time. God what a dumbass. Even if that comment was taken out of context--he's still a dumbass for saying it. Brings all kinds of things to mind.

17. Of course, as long as it not more than photo ops.
It doesn't take a genius to do those, oh excuse me I forgot who I was talking about. Anyone can fly in and make an appearance, say a few words, ask a few questions and then fly home.

Meetings with world leaders, yeah right. I hope they have good translaters, cause baby talk is hard to translate I'm sure.
