Bush says Saudi Arabia strong against terrorism

US President George W. Bush has certified that Saudi Arabia is cooperating in the war on terrorism, clearing the way for aid that would otherwise have been blocked under US law.

The move was announced late Monday in a memorandum for US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, even as a close Bush aide headed to Riyadh after criticizing the ultra-conservative Muslim kingdom's human rights record.

"I hereby certify that Saudi Arabia is cooperating with efforts to combat international terrorism and that the proposed assistance will help facilitate that effort," Bush said in the memorandum.

The White House released the document as close Bush confidante Karen Hughes, the newly minted US undersecretary for public diplomacy, prepared to meet with Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah on Tuesday.

4. strong against terrorism? You've got to be kidding me.
1) Most of the money to train and educate these terrorists comes from Saudi Arabia

2) Most of the terrorists come from Saudi Arabia

I'm sorry, but the Bush family is so deep in the pocket of the Saudi's it's not funny. He's not the Manchurian Candidate, he's the Riyahdian Candidate.

Guess what folks. There is one thing we can do to solve most of these problems.

Energy Independence. Till then our conservative masters will be slaves to the oil industry in all it's forms. That's why Bush's energy bill was meaningless. He doesn't want energy independence because his owners don't.

12. this is correct
the Saudis are strong against any terror that might cross their borders. they do this by exporting it. it's like saying New York City is strong on trash disposal, they are, they export their garbage to other places.

and make the poor middle americans believe the poor islamic countries are gonna get us, and then you support the rich islamic country who can afford weapons and has factions that actually do/have attacked us.

I think Saudi Arabia is the biggest islamic threat to america because of groups like bin ladens.

Who is the terrorist threatening them?
