Britain says Iran training Iraqi bombers: papers
LONDON (Reuters) - Britain has accused Iran of running training camps to teach militants how to carry out roadside bomb attacks on British troops in southern Iraq, according to newspaper reports on Wednesday.

London believes Iran's Revolutionary Guard has taught Shi'ite militia members from Iraq how to make armor-piercing devices, the Daily Mirror reported, citing an unnamed defense source.

"There is evidence that there are teaching camps in Iran, Lebanon and maybe

Syria," the source was quoted as saying. "It means up to 10 Iraqis at a time are being taught their trade before returning and teaching a further 50 similar minded people."

Eight British soldiers have been killed by roadside bombs since May.

The source told the Daily Mirror British soldiers in Iraq have for the first time found two similar unexploded roadside bombs and are checking them for forensic evidence.

A separate report in the Independent newspaper, said officials were searching for an "Iranian signature," while the popular Sun said the devices had advanced infra-red detonators.

A defense ministry spokesman in London said there would be no immediate comment on the reports.

3. The word "unproven" comes up a lot in that report.
They are searching for an Iranian signature...which means none has been found so far.

Blair and an unnamed source say this may be true, but Blair admits he has no proof. The defence ministry has no comment.

Why do these clowns get newspaper space?

4. i wouldn't doubt it
but, then again, the U.S. asked for it. If I were Middle Easterners, I'd be thinking of ways to aid the insurgency so that the U.S. gets a bloody nose and never comes back.

Would Iran do that? Yeah...they can plausible deny it and hurt the U.S. at the same time.

6. The facts prove this is bullshit.
Iran backs the SCIRI and Badr Corps (who were trained by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and has for a very long time; al Sistani IS IRANIAN; SCIRI and the Badr Corps constantly clash with Sadrists.

There is NO WAY Iran is now helping any Sadr splinter groups PERIOD. There is NO WAY any Sadrists are taking anything from Persians, whom they don't trust and whom they've been fighting.

Now why the hell would Iran arm their ENEMIES against their OWN?

And the Iraqi govt themselves have several times openly denied bLiar's bullshit;

On Thursday Prime Minister Ibrahim Jaafari to bLiar;

“some people want to harm the friendly relations beween Iran and Iraq, but not only will Iraq not allow them to do so, but it will continue to expand its relations with Iran.”

http://www.bbc.co.uk/persian/iran/story/2005/10/051006_mf_jafari.shtml

Shaped charges are not some rare unique thing; the rebels are probably using IRAQI charges looted from Iraq depots when BUSH was so unconcerned about guarding any of the sites from looters.

9. It's about as realistic as that old shampoo commercial
"It means up to 10 Iraqis at a time are being taught their trade before returning and teaching a further 50 similar minded people."

And so on.
And so on.
And so on.

With the TV screen splitting into thousand of little screens.

If they really had something on Iran, wouldn't they just come out and shout it all over the place?
