Prosecutors looking into DeLay vehicle purchase

By Laylan Copelin
AMERICAN-STATESMAN STAFF
Austin, Texas
Thursday, October 13, 2005

Travis County prosecutors want to know how U.S. Rep. Tom DeLay purchased a 2004 Toyota Sienna, subpoenaing all records surrounding the transaction, plus telephone records from DeLay, his campaign and his daughter.

The prosecutors on Thursday subpoenaed records from Toyota Motor Credit Corp., including purchase agreements, credit documents, receipts, check copies and information on trade-in and down payment.

The subpoenas raise questions about whether prosecutors are expanding the three-year investigation into whether DeLay and his political committee, Texans for a Republican Majority, illegally laundered corporate money into campaign donations during the 2002 election.

DeLay's daughter, Dani DeLay Ferro, did consulting work for Texans for a Republican Majority, mostly organizing the committee's events.

We'll see what they find. What is known is that DeLay certainly paid his family well.

fucking with Ronnie Earle the guy who has his fate pretty much at his fingertips-keep going Tom keep it up bro...it couldn't happen to a worse piece of shit-I've watched the house of reps operate under his leadership and really don't like what I've seen them do to democracy.Like that Thomas guy from California when he called the capital police to get dems out of the room.Conyers in a basement while they called for dozens of stupid votes-it goes on and on.I want this one guys..

21. Praise be to Pete Stark
When Thomas tried to gavel the reading of the law, Stark reared up and fought like a tiger. This was done while the Republicans called the Capitol Police to break up a meeting of the Democrats who were trying to figure out to deal with a sandbagging draft.

Stark's one of the biggest heroes in Congress today. His fight against Scott McGinnis' lie about being threatened were a high point in the history of reality.

The current Republicans are primitive thugs who will to to any length to get their way.

When voting against the IWR, Stark turned to face Hastert, and said: "the problem, Mr. Speaker, is that I do not trust this president and I do not trust his advisors".

7. How soon until he trades it for a white Bronco?
Delay is toast.
He can scream and yell and drag it out all he wants,
but the simple fact is that he's DIRTY, and everyone
knows it.

His BIZARRE actions concerning the case
clearly show a desperate man grasping at straws.
I for one am enjoying it greatly.

24. Only if you pay by credit card...
>>"Prostitutes give receipts? I don't think so."<<

And more and more hookers and hooker "managers" take VISA, Amex, and MasterCard these days...

They usually pop up on credit card bills with an anonymous-sounding name like "Smith Cleaning Services" or "Eastside Business Exchange" or some other null- but respectable-seeming connotation, just in case the Missus is paying the charge bills.

However, any experienced vice investigator has a nice current list of such "convenience" IDs right at their fingertips. It's VERY hard to conceal such charges from an experienced investigator who's got a good idea what they're looking for.

hopefully,
Bright

14. It sure looks like Ronnie Earle is on to the whole thing, the big picture
all of it, TRMPAC, the RNC and all that goes with. I have a feeling that Fitxgerald is finding the same things, looking into one crime and ends up discovering a whole bunch of other ones.
