Sunni party office attacked in Iraq
http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/6A349F73-603D-41CB-9261-A759E6AA7038.htm

No one was wounded by Friday's roadside bomb outside the Iraqi Islamic Party office in Fadhal, a district of central Baghdad.

But the rare attack against the group by Sunni-led fighters appeared aimed at punishing it for deciding to end its "no" campaign against the referendum after lawmakers agreed on Wednesday night to several amendments to the constitution designed to win Sunni Muslim support in Saturday's vote.

On Thursday, banners of the Iraqi Islamic Party urging a "no" vote had been removed from where they hung near monuments such as the capital's main Grand Imam mosque.

1. Sigh..."rare attack" against "Sunni-led insurgency"...
Then how come more Sunnis have died over the past 2 months than Shia & Kurds?

Then how come the top experts on the ground, including US military, admit they DO NOT KNOW who the insurgents are, other than they are IRAQIS?

Most Sunnis are married to Shia or have family who are Shia. Guess the Sunnis all hate their spouses & in-laws.

Anyone bother to wonder why the fuck a minority group of 20% would try to start a war against a 60% heavily armed and militia'ed majority? Not our M$M, that's for sure.

2. and worse yet...
...if those 20% are indeed the "insurgents" then why are they beating the sh!t out of the other 60% as well as American soldiers?

Either we're bullshit about who the insurgency is... or we're just REALLY bad at fighting wars.

4. This has always been hard for me
to get a grip on. Not that there's good guys and bad guys, but the Sunnis are the ones we want in power, right?

Who were the ones in power under Saddam?
