LAS VEGAS (AP) - Senate minority leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., and local labor and business leaders on Thursday lined up behind federal legislation to create a guest-worker program for undocumented immigrants.

The group also agreed that immigrants who "work hard, pay taxes, learn English and play by the rules" should be able to earn legal residency over time, according to a statement.
