Insurgents using roadside bombs and small arms fire killed three U.S. soldiers and wounded four, the military said Thursday.

and the insurgents are getting more proficient at using ieds. They conceal them better, use increasingly sophisticated detonators, and are better at avoiding surveillance flights. Wonder if cheney still thinks the insurgency is in its last throes?
