Schwarzenegger trails on Calif. ballot measures-poll
http://today.reuters.com/investing/financeArticle.aspx?type=bondsNews&storyID=2005-10-27T225541Z_01_N27456733_RTRIDST_0_POLITICS-CALIFORNIA.XML

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct 27 (Reuters) - Californians still oppose measures backed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger on a special Nov. 8 ballot, according to a survey released on Thursday but taken before he expanded campaigning to a wider array of voters.

The former actor has faced an uphill battle over measures that would boost his powers over the budget, change how California draws its electoral districts, limit union political contributions and make teacher tenure harder to get.

The November ballot is also an important referendum on the Republican Schwarzenegger himself a year before he runs for re-election.

A Public Policy Institute of California, or PPIC, survey of 2,003 Californians taken between Oct. 16-23 found 62 percent of likely voters opposed an initiative to limit state spending. Only 30 percent backed it, up from 26 percent in September.

Another measure would let three retired judges rather than state lawmakers draw legislative districts. The PPIC poll found only 36 percent of likely voters in favor and 50 percent opposed, with a plus or minus three percent margin of error.

It also says that the Gropenator's approval rating is at 33%

5. I remember how this subhuman ape
made fun of Gray Davis's approval rating of 40% before the recall election. Davis was kind of an asswipe but on his worst day he was preferable as a governor to this degenerate POS.

9. Keep showing the Schwarzenegger Shcnoz on TV!
Every time people see his face on a commercial his ratings and support for his scam election go down. I was worried last week but the new commercials by our side are kicking his steroidal shrunken butt. They even have Judge Wappener talking down aunald's anti union measures.

11. and take your Kennedy traitor wife with you
What a disappointment both have been. But then Ahnold met with Ken Lay while Davis was still in power. Tells you something as to his priorities.
