CNN/AP: No advice from CDC on Tamiflu hoarding: looking for guidance
No advice from CDC on Tamiflu hoarding
Patients, schools, doctors looking for guidance

CHICAGO, Illinois (AP) -- Worried that bird flu in Asia could morph into a human flu pandemic, healthy patients, schools and even some doctors are asking if they should stock up on Tamiflu -- the one medicine experts believe might help fight the virus.

Although some doctors' groups say no, the agency in charge of the nation's public health has no answer. That has frustrated local health officials who want to know how to advise people.

"Those are questions that are under discussion," Christina Pearson, spokeswoman for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, said this week. "Right now we're focused on the seasonal flu."

HHS includes the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, whose job includes dispensing public health recommendations.

"A lot of people have asked the CDC to provide some guidance about this, with patients asking doctors for prescriptions," said Dr. Craig Conover, medical director for the Illinois Department of Public Health....

1. Um who needs guidance now? Roche suspended shipments.
I'd think that settles the argument.

3. Tamiflu not effective against most things of concern; and likely dangerous
it likely has considerable mercury thimerosal which is extremely toxic and commonly causes serious adverse health effects long term.

Those who get several flu shots are much more likely to get serious degenerative neurological conditions like Alzheimer's, Lou Gerhig's Disease, etc. according to Hugh Fudenberg, MD, one of the world's leading immunogeneticist and one of the most quoted biologist of our times

There are lots of immune boosters such as Mannatech Ambrotose/Immunostart and Shaklee immune booster products that are patented and documented to usually prevent such as flu; and known to rapidly improve condition if you get it. Much more effective solution and safer as well.

5. Can you send
a link that shows Tamiflu has mercury in it? I know it is made from star anise but I have never heard of it having mercury. It is effective in mitigating flu sx. It is not a vaccine.

6. i know vaccines commonly contained thimerosal in recent years, and it's

being removed from many current vaccines. i also know that thimerosal was very common in contact lens products in the past. i am not familiar with thimerosal being found in tamiflu, a product that would seemingly not need that level of sterilization because it's not derived from anything bacterial or viral.

if you view this page, you can see the exact chemicals making up tamiflu, and thimerosal is not one of them:
