WILLIS WHARF, VA. - Robert Lawson fishes for conchs and crabs out in the Atlantic.
It's always been hard to make good money in his business, but Lawson says today's high diesel fuel prices are just killing him.
So Lawson says he's game for anything that might help ease the nation's energy crunch — including a plan to allow oil and gas companies to drill off Virginia's coast.
Besides, "I might get a job," Lawson said.
Lawmakers on Capitol Hill are considering easing the restrictions that for years have kept oil and natural gas producers from exploring off the East and West coasts.
