EU warns U.S. on trade retaliation

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - European Union Trade Commissioner Pascal Lamy has warned the EU will retaliate on potentially billions of dollars of U.S. exports to Europe if the United States does not comply with World Trade Organisation rulings in two long-running disputes.

In a speech to the European Institute in Washington on Tuesday, Lamy said the EU would push forward with retaliation "if the U.S. does not move to comply" in separate disputes involving steel and corporate export subsidies.
