6. indeed.
it's more than just frustrating that the original reasons for this dishonourable war we are in have been so quickly forgotten by the media -- why hasn't someone asked scotty every fuckin day of his misbegotten life -- ''where's osama and where are the wmds?"

9. Yep the election turned the corner.
I remember that clip of John Gibson saying over and over again "we won we won we won" and then said if you didn't feel that way you were too euro and should stop drinking lattes.

Another tragic case of premature exultation - Like Rumsfeld's plan to give the troops a ticker tape parade down broadway for the july 4 2003 holiday. That worked out real well didn't it.

I think we should send a few lattes to Gibson - he could to do with feeling more euro. Frankly i'd like to see him doused in pigs blood and then run outta town on a rail but a latte will have to do.

But it will all get better after the next election.

16. I just got home and heard the news
Bloodiest day since whenever.
I thought yesterday was the bloodiest day in Iraq since whenever.
Daily news babble.
And here the company line has been that it was going swimmingly. Like a Salmon trying to swim upstream with a big new dam in the way.
:argh:

18. Sounds like we are really bringing "democracy" to Iraq...
Sounds more like we are the terrorist and they are trying to protect their country.

19. Gee, I thought everything would be peaceful after the
election, sometimes I thinks we are being lied to. I see a great idea for a Democratic add here, show these assholes before every event in Iraq saying that the terrorists will increase their attacks to try and de-rail them then show them a couple days after each event picking up the bodies. Didn't they lead us to believe everything would calm down after each one of these elections now I heard it today the violence will likely increase in the lead up to the new government. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel, I remember Vietnam, that was the same bullshit they fed us then.

When will the 'murikan public catch on that this is a disaster? When will they stop thinking that this "administration" is even remotely interested in improving matters or ever getting us out of there?
