Two U.S. Troops Killed in Ramadi Attack

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) -- A U.S. Marine and soldier were killed by a suicide bomber who infiltrated a line of police recruits in Ramadi, the military said Friday.

The two Americans were assigned to the 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward), the military said. No further information was released.

3. Getting? I was outraged after the first death. Of anyone. American or

Iraqi civilian. We need to put a few of the brass out there on the streets. They're not any good for anything. They can't win this mess. They're not realistic about what they're dealing with. So hey, send a couple of generals out on patrol. Make a couple guard the perimeter of the green zone. Or walk a street. Why should they get to keep hiding behind barbed wire and concrete?

We won't be out much. No more than we are when we lose a young dad or mom to this obscene fiasco.
