Zarqawi denounces Arab states as US agents
The leader of al Qaeda in Iraq, Abu Mussab al-Zarqawi, denounced Arab countries working for political reconciliation in Iraq as U.S. agents, according to a Web audio tape posted on Sunday.

"The countries that met in Cairo ... were involved in destroying Iraq and cooperated with America by opening their land, air space and waters and offering intelligence to it," said the speaker on the tape, who sounded like Zarqawi.

The speaker denounced the Iraqi Islamic Party, viewed as the largest Sunni Arab party, for endorsing a new constitution, a move which boosted the Shi'ite- and Kurdish-led government. "We call on the Islamic Party to leave this path ... which leads to the destruction of the Sunnis," the speaker said.

"We had the power to disrupt the elections in most parts of Iraq but did not do it in order not to harm the Sunni masses," the speaker said, referring to last month's parliamentary polls which were mostly peaceful.

2. Zawahiri has been acting more like the Bush puppet of late
saying exactly what would help Bush politically in the US. This Zarqawi tape seems to be directed at the Arab world.

Zarqawi asks Sunnis to shun politics for jihad

The leader of al Qaeda in Iraq, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, criticised moderate Sunnis for taking part in electoral politics and called on them to join a holy war, according to a Web audio tape posted on Sunday.

The speaker criticised the moderate Iraqi Islamic Party, viewed as the largest Sunni Arab party, for endorsing a new constitution, a move which boosted the Shi'ite- and Kurdish-led government.

"Putting out the flames of jihad (holy war) among the people ... is surrendering them to their enemy," he said.
"O Muslim youths ... especially in (Iraq's) neighbouring countries and Yemen, jihad is your duty."

4. Somebody needs to ask Dubya why...
...that sonofabitch isn't dead yet. Kerry would have had bloodhounds on him by now.

Yet another shining example of leadership by incompetence. Bush won't get him because he can't. He's put far too many political hacks in place of the smart people who used to run everything. If the Administration were running a McDonald's, there'd be a bun between two beef patties and ketchup smeared on the wrapper.
