Sharon's latest CT brain scan shows positive results

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's brain scan Thursday evening showed positive results, indicating that the remnants of the blood in his brain from last week's massive stroke have been absorbed, hospital officials said.

However, though his doctors have been trying to wake him up since Monday, Sharon is still not showing signs of regaining consciousness. His condition on Thursday remained unchanged: critical but stable, breathing but connected to a respirator, and not out of danger. Sharon has been hospitalized since in Hadassah Hospital, Ein Karem in Jerusalem since suffering a cerebral hemorrhage last Wednesday.

In response the the brain scan results, doctors removed a tube that they had inserted into Sharon's skull to relieve pressure on his brain, a statement from Hadassah Hospital said.

overweight, heart problem, blood on brain. The question is will they keep him on the respirator until his party wins the election. He should have been allowed to die since last week.
