Movie Actor Baldwin Launches Anti-Porn Action, Promises Newspaper Ads


NEW YORK A new sex-oriented business is opening not far from his home outside New York City, and actor Stephen Baldwin is promisiing to stop it, possibly with the help of newspaper ads.

One of the family of Baldwin brother (Alex, Billy, Daniel) actors, Stephen Baldwin has become known as a Christian activist. His home near Nyack, N.Y., has a sign bearing scripture right on his front lawn.

Baldwin, 39, stood outside the "adult entertainment" shop and photographed workers and their vehicles as they got the store ready to open, according to an account in the Journal-News of White Plains, N.Y.

Baldwin told the paper he planned to stand outside the store every day and photograph the license plates of the store's patrons to aid in tracking down their identities. He vowed to take out a full-page newspaper advertisement once a month to publish those names.

There is a thing called "Higher Consciousness" and a thing known as "lower Consciousness".
I didn't name it -it is a semantic agreed upon by the masses so it is acceptable to use these terms.,

Now, for analogy we'll use the Wizard of Oz,...
O.K. now the Good Witch of the North is "Higher Consciousness"--She wants Dorothy (you) to get home safely and to avoid mishaps along the way.
Now, the Wicked Witch of the West is "Lower Consciousness"--She wants Dorothy's Ruby slippers (Power-->something that is yours) and doesn't mind killing Dorothy (and Toto too) as long as she gets those precious slippers.

Higher Consciousness(remember I am not the one who named it) is concerned with the GREATER GOOD of ALL beings.
Lower Consciousness is dominated by the "ME" /"Mine" concept and is our "ANIMAL NATURE".
It is concerned with Greed, Sensory Gratification (like food, sex/lust) and Dominance of Territory, and is NOT concerned about the well being of anyone but the Self.

Lord of the Rings Trilogy is another good example.
Many great literary works touch on this concept as well.

"lower consciousness" is our "animal" nature--ex:-->One who centers on sensory gratification is absorbed in lower consciousness.--One who overindulges his/her senses(over eating/ drug/excess alcohol use/ over-doing anything)
One who takes from others without concern for their well being (ex: our pResident and his PNAC friends who designed invasion of Iraq).
One who kills those who stand in his way without remorse or concern ( ex:our idiot son pResident and his friends who MIHOP 911 and then killed 100 thousand Iraqis who "happened to be in the way")

"Higher Consciousness" is concern for All beings -including ones self but not limited to one's self or one's immediate family or tribe.
Those who nurture those less able or those unable to care for themselves (ex: nursing back to health hurt or ill creatures)
Those who help the less fortunate through charity and giving.
Those who understand "COMPASSION"

and so on...

Those who use "porn"(impulse gratification/over-stimulation of sex organs) ,by definition, allow themselves to center on "lower consciousness".
