Iran nuclear plans may pose energy threat - United States
Iran's nuclear programme may pose a danger to international energy security over time and must be halted, U S Deputy Secretary of State Robert Zoellick said on Monday.

''It poses a threat not only in terms of security terms, but in my view, given the reliance of Japan, China and others on energy from the region, it poses some danger to energy security over time,'' he said.

Iran's dispute with the West over its nuclear programme has raised questions about the security of supplies from OPEC's number two producer, which exports some 2 million bpd of crude to the Asia-Pacific.

Zoellick said that there was a ''pretty good posture'' for referring the issue to the Security Council given the composition of the IAEA board.

2. so, we go to Japan and talk this rhetoric also--(beating the drums of war)
.....Zoellick, however stressed that diplomatic efforts would continue even if that occurred.

''As President Bush has stated, if this is referred to the U N Security Council, that's not the end of diplomacy, in some ways it's the beginning of a form of diplomacy,'' he said.

"I ran out of gas. I, I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake. A terrible flood. Locusts."

4. Energy threat?
GOOD ONE! A country in the middle east building a power plant is going to threaten ENERGY elsewhere?

The only way it is going to threaten Energy is if we place sanctions on them and attack them disrupting the supply of oil to the rest of the world.

7. So we know really that Iran wants nuclear material for energy reasons.
So now, their use of nuclear energy for domestic purposes becomes a threat to US enenergy. The Bushbots have no shame. May they all rot in hell.
