NZ leads the world in environmental performance ( US 28th )

The study showed that just six nations - led by New Zealand, followed by five from Northern Europe - have achieved 85 per cent or better success in meeting critical environment goals ranging from low ozone levels, to clean drinking water, low greenhouse gas emissions and sustainable fisheries.

"I'm delighted to see the report because it would appear to vindicate the directions we're taking," he told NZPA.

"That's not to say we've gone far enough or that we've got everything right. We're on the right track.

The United States was 28th overall, behind most of Western Europe, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Costa Rica and Chile, but ahead of South Korea and Russia.

1. Good for NZ and Britain (6th). Piss on Jebusland as usual.

2. Cool... but...
... you wouldn't know it from the masses of cars driving by my window this morning. We still have a long way to go here in NZ.

4. At least you're working on it
You already have one of the best environmental policies on the planet, yet are self-conscious that it isn't as good as it could/should be. In contrast, here in the Fourth Reich, we indiscriminately toxify everything we touch, and clamor to be even more destructive, proudly asserting our right to massive tax cuts to buy gas-guzzling Humvees and the like. Trust me, you live in paradise compared to what most of us have to put up with.

3. God, I want to emigrate
Went to NZ for my honeymoon recently and it was soooo hard boarding the plane to return to the Fourth Reich. It truly is a glorious country.
