New Bird Flu Vaccine Is 100 Percent Effective in Animal Tests

Pennsylvania researchers have produced a bird flu vaccine made from a genetically engineered human cold virus and shown that it protected 100 percent of vaccinated mice and chickens.

While production of a conventional flu vaccine requires months of work and large numbers of fertilized chicken eggs, the researchers reported Thursday that they prepared their vaccine in only 36 days, growing it in a laboratory dish.

The ability to produce a new vaccine so quickly could give public health officials a powerful new tool to combat the H5N1 bird flu virus if it should mutate and begin infecting humans widely.

The team is working with the Food and Drug Administration to begin human tests of the vaccine, said Dr. Andrea Gambotto of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, who led the team. He said those trials could begin within weeks.

He said the vaccine should be equally effective in humans because it is based on a human virus....

LYME VACCINE -the surface protein used in the LymeRix vaccine was known before FDA approval to cause a chronic, un-treatable autoimmune response in up to 20% of the population, It could and did lead to fatal heart damage in a lot of people. Doctors never tied the two together. Two other vaccines did not have that "side affect" FDA approved LymeRix because they had personal connections and money involved in it. There was a genetic test available to tell who might be vulnerable but doctors were not made aware of the problem. Worse drug reps were touting it to physicians as a cure for people who already had Lyme, a outright lie. Since the borreliosis bacteria shifts genetically from vector to person anyone who did not have the exact make up of the vaccine was subject to immune system overload.

15% of people asking for help from Lyme Disease support groups TODAY are suffering total disability FROM THE VACCINE. The FDA never formally ruled on the vaccine because it was voluntarily withdrawn but with the recent laws passed it can be brought back and people can be forced to take it.

They don't need any concentration camps between the part D disaster, the looming cuts to the safety net, the withdrawal of over the counter asthma medicine (for environmental reasons)plus the reformulation of generic Actifed and Sudefed (those with breathing problems know what works), the assault on heath food vendors for anything they can think, the search and seizure of any medicine coming into America they are going to kill us off. Hemophiliacs died needlessly from AIDS and we didn't pay attention and we still aren't. Oh and I can get opiates for pain with a phone call but I have to go in and beg to get antibiotics. Lyme tests only pick up 33% of actual Lyme Disease how many other useless tests recently approved keep us from getting antibiotics when we actually need them?

I just read that chickens can STILL get antibiotics in their feed and thousands of people have to go outside the US for medicines to stay alive. Rant off.
