Iran Threatens Full-Scale Enrichment Work
This is their official notification to the IAEA.

VIENNA, Austria -
Iran threatened to retaliate Thursday in the face of almost certain referral to the
U.N. Security Council for its nuclear activities, and the head of the
International Atomic Energy Agency said the dispute was "reaching a critical phase."

Ahead of a decision by the IAEA's 35-nation board, U.S. and European delegates turned to behind-the-scenes diplomacy to build the broadest possible support for reporting Iran to the council over concerns it is seeking nuclear weapons.

Iran's chief nuclear negotiator, Ali Larijani, in a letter made available to the AP, warned IAEA chief Mohamed ElBaradei that referral would leave Iran no choice but "to suspend all the voluntary measures and extra cooperation" with the IAEA — shorthand for reducing IAEA monitoring to a minimum.

Cuba, Venezuela, Syria and a few other nations at odds with Washington remained opposed to referral. India was said to be leaning toward supporting referral.

2. They're afraid they won't be in power when/if Iran becomes a real threat
Just in case their plans must be implemented before 2008.

9. I mean they see this as the next oil producing country they can attack
Why shouldn't they seize this chance? After all didn't the majority of the American people swallow the Iraq lies hook-line-and-sinker?

7. Yes, that's it in a nutshell
Keep the people dumb and scared. That is the key ingredient to their not losing power.

4. The crisis is that next month Iran is planning to open an oil
bourse and trade in euros instead of the dollar. This could cause the collapse of the dollar and plunge the US into a depression. Please go to this link:

and kick and recommend it. Also read all the info. The administration has already had the Pentagon draw up plans for a preemptive nuclear attack on Iran. All this talk about Iran's nuclear capability is a red herring. The US is in grave danger of falling for the WMD ruse again. The MSM already has. If we preemptively attack another nation whether with conventional arms or nuclear arms, I believe the rest of the world won't stand for it. It could be the beginning of WWIII but the neocons are more than willing to take the risk.

Please visit that link and recommend it.

Thanks,

OPEC Has Consensus To Cut Output In March

Ramirez also said, however, that he would tell Iran's Oil Minister Kazem Vaziri Hamaneh that Venezuela would side with Iran in its standoff with the West over its nuclear program.

"We support Iran in its nuclear dispute," Ramirez said.

Venezuela exports to US 1,235 Mbbl/dy

As a side note, why is OPEC going to cut production in March, in advance of 'driving season', when oil prices are near record? Could it be that the lower production rate represents depletion of the resource? No, that couldn't be.
