Canadian border worries American officials
Edited on Thu Feb-02-06 11:05 PM by CHIMO
WASHINGTON (CP) — U.S. officials said they're slightly more worried about the border with Canada than Mexico when it comes to terrorists crossing into the United States.

"My impression is that perhaps our border with Canada has, to some degree, been of a bit greater concern than that with Mexico," John Negroponte, director of national intelligence, told a U.S. Senate hearing Thursday on global terror threats.

Charles Allen, chief intelligence officer at the Homeland Security Department, said terrorists are finding it harder to enter the country by air and sea.

"We need to work harder with the northern border."

The Canadian dream.
Border is closed and no more NAFTA. Or to put it in the words of the Alberta premier "let the .... dark"

1. Let Negroponte
tell that to Christine Gregoire. HSA has been playing funny with plenty of Canadians coming down to the U.S. for little reason other than it was a possibility. I sent a TN-1 letter for a business associate and he was turned back because the paper did not have a watermark. Go figure. Maybe my colleague should have made a watermark on it.

5. Simple
Just shut the border to the Canadians going to Florida in the winter.

Shut down the bloody thing. It would win the praise of many Canadians. Shut down our gas. Our prices are too high.

2. Their solution is NO northern border.
That's the implications of NORTHCOM and "Deep integration."

Is the Annexation of Canada part of Bush's Military Agenda?

8. Not All, Just Alberta
I don't think you need to worry about Ontario/Quebec with this bunch.

A more competent Maximum Leader would recognize the hydroelectric energy potential of these provinces.

But the Maximum Leader only understands fossil fuel, primarily oil. So I think (most of you) are off the hook.

3. oooooookay
the real idea here is for canada to simply 'adjust' its immigration policy to match that of the US. terror is just an excuse.

7. They don't want Americans fleeing to Canada
They want to stop us from fleeing towards freedom. Bush is a dictator and many of us are ready to leave Jesusland for the Promised Land.

15. Something that many Americans have not read from an award winning
author.

Negroponte wishes he could handle Canada like he did Central America and Iraq
never-mind the hit squad that killed an Italian agent at one of his check points in Iraq.

WHICH WE NOW KNOW WAS SET UP BY HIM AND NOT AN ACCIDENT OR A MISUNDERSTANDING.

Proven war criminal.

"the black point" which is what his name means

11. Oh sure ...
NOW it is an issue.

Why?

Oh, well it seems that it is going to be very important that we keep Americans from LEAVING when they finally get a good idea of what is going on and what is in store for them. I can see the run for the borders now. Walls? Where did these walls come from?

America, one fish bowl under Bush?

12. It's
An opening bid to the incoming PM in Canada. It's an opening for him to offer an alignment of Canadian immigration, foreign policy and border patrols to mate with the USA.

18. Blame Canada!
Shall I be the first to blame Canada?

Sheila: Times have changed
Our kids are getting worse
They won't obey their parents
They just want to fart and curse!
Sharon: Should we blame the government?
Liane: Or blame society?
Dads: Or should we blame the images on TV?
Sheila: No, blame Canada
Everyone: Blame Canada
Sheila: With all their beady little eyes
And flappin' heads so full of lies
Everyone: Blame Canada
Blame Canada
Sheila: We need to form a full assault
Everyone: It's Canada's fault!
Sharon: Don't blame me
For my son Stan
He saw the darn cartoon
And now he's off to join the Klan!
Liane: And my boy Eric once
Had my picture on his shelf
But now when I see him he tells me to fuck myself!
Sheila: Well, blame Canada
Everyone: Blame Canada
Sheila: It seems that everything's gone wrong
Since Canada came along
Everyone: Blame Canada
Blame Canada
Copy Guy: They're not even a real country anyway
Ms. McCormick: My son could've been a doctor or a lawyer rich and true,
Instead he burned up like a piggy on the barbecue
Everyone: Should we blame the matches?
Should we blame the fire?
Or the doctors who allowed him to expire?
Sheila: Heck no!
Everyone: Blame Canada
Blame Canada
Sheila: With all their hockey hullabaloo
Liane: And that bitch Anne Murray too
Everyone: Blame Canada
Shame on Canada
For...
The smut we must stop
The trash we must bash
The Laughter and fun
Must all be undone
We must blame them and cause a fuss
Before somebody thinks of blaming uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuus

Note that I don't even LIKE South Park, or Trey and Matt, and especially not "Team America"; I did, however, used to work at a movie theater that played the South Park movie.

19. When booger eating Shrub authorizes the military draft....
...alot of our kids (mine included), will leave the country (with my blessing).

They'll first want to head to canada. That's why dipsh*t shrub wants to 'close the border' - who in their right mind would want to run TO mexico?

In any event, I've advised her to emigrate to english/spanish speaking countries w/no
extradition treaty. I'm not going to say which.

My youngest daughter, being deaf and learning disabled would be of no use to the military cannon fodder machine, so I hope that she will be immune to the draft.

If booger eating dipsh*t shrub decides to draft her, he'll have to come find us in a cave.

Ever thought about trying to hunt down someone in a muddy hole in the ground?

Don't ever try it.
