CALABAR, Nigeria, Nov. 8 -- Any attempt to seize former Liberian president Charles Taylor on Nigerian soil would violate the nation's territorial integrity, the Nigerian government said after Washington offered a reward for the exiled leader's capture.

Taylor, who resigned and went into exile in Nigeria in August after being indicted by a U.N.-backed war crimes court, was assumed to have been the target of a U.S. measure setting the $2 million reward "for an indictee of the Special Court for Sierra Leone."
