3. It's probably for the best |
|
Cindy would likely accomplish more by continuing her fight in her son's name.

She has more impact being out in the streets and showing up wherever * is!! She wouldn't be able to do that is she were in Washington.

6. I am VERY disappointed. I was so looking to volunteering for her |
|
Now I'll just stay home and let the Democratic war-monger (Feinstein) duke it out with the Rupuke war-monger.

I think she could have won. I remember a woman, whos son was killed in a long island railroad shooting in the 90s, ran for congress against an established politician and won. Handily at that. It most certainly can be done.

8. I'm actually relieved by this |
|
If Cindy had run as a Democrat, it would have compromised her "anti-war" voice as just a partisan gimmic.
If she had run as an Independent or Green, she would have split the vote and helped the Republican candidate.
Cindy made the right choice.

I was looking forward to a Sheehan/Feinstein face-off. But maybe it is for the best, after all.
It would have been a lot harder to throw Senator Sheehan out of the next SOTU...
