Alabama AG Asks Court To Oust Chief Justice
The state Attorney General asked a judical panel on Monday to remove suspended Chief Justice Roy Moore from officefor defying a federal judge's order to take his Ten Commandments monument off public display in the state Judical building.

In a pretrial briefing filed with the Alabama Court of the Judicary, Attorney General Bill Pryor said Moore should be removed because he "intentionally and publicly engaged in misconduct and because he remains unrepentant for his behaviour."

1. Has anybody else noticed how much
Roy Moore looks like Gomer Pyle? Seriously when he talks his jaw is crooked and it cracks me up to see him.

4. No, the crooked face belongs to:
Gomer. Gomer Pyle. That would be funny if my state taxes wouldn't go up because of Chief Moore's stupid ass charade...

He will make the poor people pay for his folly.

2. Moore
Pryor is up for a federal judgeship which is being fillibustered. He needs to distance himself from Moore to deflect charges that he is a religious extremist. It may work.

5. "Moore for Governor"
I haven't seen any such signs yet, but I expect to see them soon. Riley has pissed off his core constituency by having the unmitigated gall to recommend responsible government. The moment that Moore is removed, he'll begin his election campaign. Or, maybe instead, he'll run for senator. No matter what it is, however, I'd put money on him winning by a landslide.

9. Is that possible?
If he is removed from office will it not have to be through a process of impeachment? And isn't part of the consequence of being impeached the baring of that person from ever holding office ANYWHERE in the united states?

11. That's only for federal impeachments
And Moore isn't being impeached.

7. This is exactly what Moore wants to happen
He wants to be taken off of the court because it gives him ammunition for his upcoming Gubernatorial race.

Mark my words - Gov. Roy Moore is coming to Alabama.

12. Hate to say it, but you're probably right
I wouldn't be surprised to see him elected governor or U.S. senator within a few years. This is especially frightening because Moore isn't just a right-wing loon (like Sessions, for example), he's a full blown theocrat who would love to see this country taken back into the Dark Ages.

8. Moore should be removed immediately if not sooner!
There is no place in this country with this type of behavior.

junior should be ashamed of himself and resign also.

10. Excellent news

It's nice to see the theocrats (aka American Taliban) lose yet again. But Pryor still doesn't deserve to be a federal judge. He's only attacking Moore because he wants to appear moderate.
