Jessica Lynch is working as a consultant for a former congressman's lobbying company, evaluating Iraqi companies applying for rebuilding work.

Al-Rehaief was granted asylum last spring after his role in Lynch's rescue was publicized.
Former Rep. Bob Livingston, R-La., hired him at the Livingston Group, which promotes business interests worldwide. Its clients include the Republic of Turkey and defense contractor Northrop-Grumman.
Al-Rehaief, 33, declined to talk specifics about his life in America because of concerns about his family's security. He spent much of his hourlong discussion recounting his role in Lynch's rescue.
Though Lynch has said she did not recall being beaten by her captors, al-Rehaief reiterated that he saw an Iraqi officer strike her in Baghdad's Saddam Hospital.
"I know more than anybody how much she suffered in Iraq (news - web sites). It was a difficult time she cannot remember," he said.
