diebold's gotta pay for an audit

SACRAMENTO -- Citing concerns that Diebold Election Systems installed uncertified software on some electronic voting systems in a California county without the state's knowledge, officials are forcing the company to pay for an audit of all the company's voting machines used in the state in order to win certification for a new model.

What the hell are they auditing anyway? :shrug:
They should be paying the costs of a full blown investigation of the illegally installed software!

3. Auditing themselves...reminds me of the Enron mess...where auditors

did it all...Diebold will run a report..there is nothing else they can do..it's all over..they will be paid and live another day to screw us all.
