BAGHDAD (Reuters) - At least 16 people were killed and 40 wounded in a blast near a Shi'ite mosque and market north of Baghdad on Tuesday, police said.

The police said it was still too early to know whether the blast was caused by a car bomb or a mortar attack.

.... a little more here...

<snip>

A car bomb blew up late today outside a Shiite mosque in Baghdad, killing at least 10 people and wounding 50, Agence France-Presse said. No further details were available. Earlier today, at least 35 other Iraqis were killed in four separate attacks in the capital, AFP said. Two U.K. soldiers were killed in southern Iraq, Britain's Ministry of Defence said.

7. They believed the neo con shit too .....
but oil was a factor ..... no doubt. Paul O'Neil *'s former Sec. of the Treasury
wrote that he saw maps of Iraqi oil fields on Cheney's desk in 2001.

And for the first 4 months they pumped the oil un-metered from Iraq.
