2. Someone should make a graph
Probably shows a steep uphill trend in September and October. And my son is thinking of joining the Army. :-(

4. My repost (Two threads, same topic)
Many of us have been watching and waiting and crying as this escalates. For comparison purposes:

Year/Number of US Dead

1956-1960 -- 9 US deaths
1961 16 -- US deaths
1962 52 -- US deaths
1963 118 -- US deaths
1964 206 -- US deaths
1965 1,863 -- US deaths

The future is not difficult to predict, is it. :(

After 1965:

1966 6,143
1967 11,153
1968 16,592
1969 11,616
1970 6,081
1971 2,357
1972 641
1973 168
1974 178
1975 161
1976 77
1977 96
1978 447
1979 148
1980 26
1981-1990 34
1991-1998 11

Total American physical* deaths = 58,193

*Excludes the walking dead -- and they are are all around us.

6. This looks a little low--for instance, in 1983, 241 marines were killed
in Lebanon by a Syrian backed terrorist group, remember?

St. Ronald took a lot of heat for it and finally pulled out.

5. Don't furget those "unreported" deaths, and the over 2,000 wounded

. . you can be sure that if the BFEE is aware of a military person with no relatives,

or one of the "volunteers" without American Citizenship, they will not get into the "official" numbers

Not that I trust the Amerikan Admin to be honest in the first place -

WE will only see the "numbers" that the US Administation figures that we'all can "find out"

Like that 58,000 lost in Vietnam was not exactly reported "as it happened" so to speak ?

Extrapolate that, 400 dead, over 2,000 wounded in Iraq -

so How many dismembered vets came back from Vietnam ?

Too many questions -

Not enough TRUTHFULL answers

Just My Humble Canadian Opinion

8. And these numbers don't include all the "civilian" Haliburton and Root
deaths of employees doing traditional soldier-ing jobs, such as engineering and re-supply.
