want to shake hands with. Or share a bus with. Or anything. And that's even in the pretty shiny try-not-to-crack-your-face-smiling pictures that They release! Their BEST pictures of her still make me want her to go very, very far away.

I think people's outsides come to match their insides after awhile; not so much that we should judge people by their "looks" (clothes, skin color, hair, etc) but a lot can be gathered by their "look" if you grok my distinction. I've never yet been wrong about someone who immediately revolted me--and it has nothing to do with conventional ugly or pretty, either. Her hatefulness has shaped her entire face and it shows.

5. I agree with you.

I, too, believe the way a person thinks affects their outward appearance, and I have thought the same thing you do about Condi. Were she a pleasant and nice person, she would be quite attractive. As it is, she really is revolting. And so are some of the others who spew right wing garbage all the time. I remember watching Larry King one night and he had Barbara Olson (who died in the Pentagon crash) and Bay Buchanan on talking about Clinton, and their faces were so twisted with hatred it was amazing. I wondered if they ever watched themselves on tv, because that was not a pretty sight.

Straw, a supporter of the Iraq war who had been a liberal activist in his youth, said he "was not embarrassed in the least" by the reception Rice has received in his district. He noted the anti-Rice organizers had promised to bring in "busloads and busloads" of protesters but failed to do so.

"I didn't think they did very well," Straw said, adding "If they'd asked me, I could have done better for them."
